Azad is 4 years old and live in an old building. His family had to change often their place because of police pressure. The few furnitures has been given.

Azad lives in his grand-mother's home. Fera does not see her husband since 4 years. Azad's grand-father is in prison for 9 years (because membering of PKK). Fera supports all her family and asks charity for  surviving : the authorities could charge anyone who gives her a job. Because she has been tortured, she can not work : she has been many times arrested, tortured woth sexual abuses  (she was pregnant and lost a child ; another time she could not nourrish her six month old baby and he died).

Azad's mother is in prison since many years for having supported the PKK and his father had been killed in the guerilla.

His aunt, Deniz, is 17 years old : she had been arrested when policemen came for her father and was imprisonned because her father missed. She stayed in jail during 44 days in Karaköl. Her cell was cold and wet. She has been tortured and has serious rhumatisms and can not work. She needs exprensives drugs ( about 200 $). She does not go to school because of political pressures and lack of money.

In Azad's family, there are tooi Kamuran - 10 years - he goes to school and ask charity, Hasan - 9 years - studies too and Egid - 5 years.
