Sozdal is 6 years old. She lives in the shantytown of Bayramtepe near to Istanbul. His family shares the same house with two other families who came to Bitlis. Their village has been burnt by army and they had to fled. But here too, inhabitantd are persecuted for they are considered like pro-Kurdistan Workers Party. |

Sozdal's life is difficult : the authorities want to expulse all the Kurdish families who try to live here. There is only one who works. All the men are dead and children can not go to school because it is too expensive. Like the other twelve children, Sozdal tries to help her family by doing some street jobs like shoe shiner. |
