Silliness wants only to be kindhearted, against Intellect. For that reason, every totalitarian parties or institutions appeal always to our finer feelings.

So, Öcalan's trial was nothing but an exhibition of sorrowed families, pictures of Turkish sons killed in the war, "innocent victims" who made so sad Turkish media. And Öcalan himself, the hand on his heart, cried over the victims, and beg pardon to the soldiers'mothers, beg pardon to the soldiers'souls, to the Turkish people in general, and he forgot suddenly that most of the thirty-six thousand victims for whom he was blamed, and for whom he beg pardon, were Kurds, and had not been murdered by the PKK's killers (Workers Party of Kurdistan)...

Killed soldiers'mothers who wept for their sons, and the Atatürk's picture, "our Father", who was badly betrayed and should be defended, and the sacred motherland... In the same time, in Europa and in Turkey, the PKK showed in the streets its martyrs' mothers, its martyrs' pictures and the Abdullah Öcalan's portrait, "our national treasure", without worrying about the fact that Öcalan sold off the Kurdish resistance and abandonned so easily the thousands of fighters he send to the guerilla, and ordered to stop the struggles without condition. But a man for whom so such people commit suicide, can not be wrong, never...

For concluding, the judgement of Imrali made just one victim : Intelligence. The main Öcalan's lawyer, Ahmet Zeki Okçuoglu (he was himslef put on the Black List by the PKK for many years), would like to make of that trial an historical and considered debate about the roles of Turkey and kemalists in the Kurdish question. But he was rejected by a dull defence, that was just be able to applaude the Kurdish leader's assertions of good wills and remorses, just be able to open an Web site with drawings and letters of children for their President. Beacause a man who is loved by children and people should always be right...

The political turning of the PKK faces just good feelings to its surrounded opposants, because its policy is not rational : peace is always a good thing and people that criticize peace are only bellicist and don't care of the martyrs' suffering ; democracy is admirable and the one who is applauded by the most numerous has no legal opposants, just people's ennemies and it is necessary to get rid of them (with democratic methods ?)... For a political movement that release doves in the sky is ever right, all the time.
